In this talk, Ben (JiBanTetsuDo) Sheppard will share his story that has led to his current role as Senior Manager of Pastoral Care across a number of Not-for-Profit Catholic Hospitals.
A career that has been far from linear, Ben was baptised in the Anglican Church of England tradition and educated in a Presbyterian and Methodist school.
What happened between then and now?
What's his experience as a Pastoral Carer and the ingredients that made it possible?
How was his experience as Manager of a Pastoral Care team - debunk a myth or two?
What helpful insights and observations through Organisational Development lens can be applied to Buddhist chaplaincy?
